My first impressions of the AiRRUS Co-MATRiX 457 is that this is a durable casting rod. By the looks of the butt section, it's thicker than others in the medium-heavy fast action class. Then immediately after the first guide from the reel seat, the thickness decreases to the usual diameter we are more familiar with.
